Emotions and Healing Workshop

Presented by Robert Mascarotti, D.C.

Introduction

In this workshop you will learn how to release tensions and remove blockages resulting from your emotions.

This method is an integration of different systems such as quantum physics, traditional Chinese medicine, Psychology and Spirituality. Those systems are fundamental in order for us to understand the concept of Healing.

You will learn:
  • How to recognize self-sabotage and procrastination
  • How to change limiting belief patterns
  • How to become more congruent with your goals and desire
  • The key is to let go of the past and live in the present, right now!
  • This method uses acupressure points, affirmations, visualization, physiology, breathing and meditation.
  • It is easy to learn, easy to do on yourselves and on others.
  • For some of you it may change your life for ever !

This method has been originally taught by Roy Martina, M.D., and inspired by the work of George Goodheart, D.C. , Robert Callahan PhD, Cargioli, M.D., Scott Walker, D.C., G. Nicosia M.D., John Diamond M.D. and S. Brennen.

Emotional Balancing / Emotional Integration

Use it:
  1. For self-help for acute and chronic stress
  2. To help friends and family during acute and chronic stress
  3. For behavioral modifications ( addictions and cravings or other compensatory pattern)
  4. To address pain ( Please make sure that the physical source of the pain is appropriately diagnosed and treated by a health care professional)
  5. To enhance meditative and spiritual practices.

Focus on Issue

Anxiety scale (1-10) : Please think about something that is stressing you right now. As an example think of a situation that triggered anger or fear but be very specific. Is it related to a certain situation or a certain person Where is the tension associated with the emotion in your body? What type of images does it evoked?, What type of sensation do you experience ?

If you are subjected to acute stress it is not difficult to see its relationship to your worry, fear, anger frustration...etc…. but for sub-acute or chronic stress it may more challenging.

The person needs to be challenged under a certain amount of stress or tension to manifest a certain behavioral pattern and by their reactions we can study what is happening to them. Indirectly we can measure physiological changes triggered by the emotions such as a change in radial arterial pulse, a change of heart rate, a decrease of blood supply to the extremities, the amount of sweat release by the sweat glands through our sympathetic system, a change in breathing pattern, a change in postural pattern, a change in muscle tension. Those are some of the few objective tests that one can perform. Today because of convenience we will study the change in muscle strength or muscle tension.

Muscle testing

One of the arms is straightened at 90 degrees and we test the ability of this person to hold the arm straight under manual pressure. A change of tension indicates some type of change, imbalance or malfunction has happened.

My name is (true) no change -- Coherent

My name is (false) change, something is not right -- Not Coherent

Acupressure points

  1. Insecurity
  2. Frustration
  3. Worry
  4. General stress
  5. Repressed feelings (may be associated with regret)
  6. Fear
  7. Low self esteem
  8. Anger
  9. Grief
  10. Rigidity
  11. Repressed sexuality
  12. Neurological imbalance
  13. Forgiveness
  14. Emotional imbalance ( overwhelmed by the situation)

Affirmations

Testing for general core beliefs:

“I want to be happy, successful, healthy and vital.”

Muscle tests strong: you are OK with it.

Muscle tests weak: there is an issue. Go to switching technique. Tap your closed fist against your open hand (stimulating the emotional imbalance points) while doing the same affirmations and then recheck strength if testing strong then OK.

Then look into specific situations: and test, strong OK if weak not OK

Then contact the acupressure point with your index finger, one reflex at the time and check for strength if strong, use this point for treatment ( stimulate the point manually with a rotating motion), if weak go to the next point.

Once this point is treated, check other points and keep treating it the same way, until all weakness is eliminated.

Ask the person each time you treat the point to rate their level of emotional or physical discomfort on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being worse.

Treatment or Self-Therapy

Affirmations to do:

I love and accept myself with (the emotion associated with the specific acupressure point) related to this issue (known or unknown).

I love and accept myself on the deepest level of (whatever emotion) related to this issue or the person

I love and accept myself since the very first time I experienced this (emotion) with whatever issues

I let go of this emotion and replace with:
  1. Worry, low self-esteem, insecurity with Faith and Confidence
  2. Anger, frustration with Forgiveness and Love
  3. Grief with Happiness
  4. Emotional imbalance with Emotional balance, Peace and Harmony
  5. Neurological imbalance with Neurological Balance, Peace and Harmony
  6. Stress with Calmness and Inner Peace
  7. Non-forgiveness with Forgiveness
  8. Sexual repressed feelings with Balance, Peace and Harmony
  9. Repressed emotions with Love and Good Communication
  10. Rigidity with Love, Tolerance and Understanding

For Forgiveness only

"I love and forgive my self for all the pain I have caused upon on myself and others and I love and forgive others for all the pain they have caused me"

"I love and forgive myself on the deepest level of pain I have caused on myself and others and I love and forgive others for the pain they have caused me"

"I love and forgive myself and others since the very first time I have caused pain upon myself or others and since others for the pain they have caused me"

"I love and accept myself just the way I am"

Write down the sequence of the emotional acupressure points. You will repeat the affirmations associated with those points. On the average do it three times day

In no way this method is a replacement for appropriate counseling or therapy. If it is essential to recognize and let go of our mental blocks resulting from the abnormal processing of our emotions, it is even more important to not repeat the same pattern over and over again.

A good therapist or counselor can give you the tools to break loose from those addictive emotional patterns (defined as repeated abnormal unconscious, subconscious and conscious response towards certain persons or situations) and it is up to you to use it.

Don’t procrastinate and start to use this great self-empowering method right now, and until you find and experience something better and faster. Do it not only for yourself but also for the people around you.

“Change yourself first and the rest of the world will change” -- Sundari, French author of 'A Philosophy for New Ages'
